What you provide
When you send a booking request, you may enter phone number, email address, visit times, special instructions, allergy information, and optional dog name. You do not create a customer account in the app.
How we use it
- Your request is saved on your device first, then synced to a small server when the internet is available so the sitter can be notified by email.
- The sitter uses the same app to approve or decline requests.
What stays on your phone
- Booking history and sitter tools stay in on-device storage (SwiftData) until removed.
- Sitter login credentials and session tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain on the sitter’s device only.
- A sitter PIN, if used, stays on the device and is not uploaded.
What we do not collect
- Precise GPS location in this version (Woodmoor service area is informational only).
- Advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking.
- In-app purchases (none in v1).
Transactional email is sent from our server (not from your personal mail app) when a new request is first received, so the sitter or parent on file can respond.
Retention
Server-side copies follow the hosting configuration for this project. To delete or export data, contact the parent/guardian email above.
Children’s privacy
This app is not directed at children as customers. The business may involve a minor operator; the parent/guardian listed above is the responsible contact. Consult your own legal counsel for COPPA and local requirements.
